Autumn in Alaska

The colors of autumn are absolutely spectacular at the Upper Trail Lake!

I’m grateful that I got few good moments before it stared to rain again and then losing the good light, and clearer reflections on the lake. I actually left the village, but about I was 10 miles out, I turned around as I just couldn’t leave without trying to see more of the lake… even it meant in the rain. So when I drove back, parked my car; then changed to my rain gear, and put on my rain boots. There I went.

I know I may not be rewarded with a stunning view like this on every single of my second attempts while exploring an unfamiliar area… but I think not giving up in term of finding a satisfying frame until I tried my best is the way to explore with my camera! Plus I’ve always been pleasantly surprised so far.

Autumn in Alaska

Hello Spring

Hello Spring!

It was pouring so hard just now… and it felt like a storm was on its way (I was so excited for a moment)… But the storm did not come and it is calm now.

This does not happen often, but I do love the sound of rain once in a blue moon… some lovely music… candle light… going through past photos… my travel bugs are attacking me now.

Perhaps I should go spend some time with the map and find some lovely hidden places along my next big road trip for me to dream away. Goodnight dreamers! =)

The very next morning after I returned from Southern France last summer, I couldn’t believe my eyes of the mountain view I saw while driving down a hill. I have always been traveling far, far away from home to see the world… but boy how blessed am I to return from every single trip to this gorgeous city?!

This is today’s mountain view in Vancouver. Enjoy! =)
